The Level 2 Award in Machine Safety introductory award aimed at those working in the Oil &Gas, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, Petrochemical, Aerospace, Steel, Precision engineering and associated industries. The course will enable participants to understand and master the functional safetyrelated aspects like Hazard identification, Risk assessment and designing of safety critical systems.

Topics covered include safety legal requirements, basic terminology and principles, inclusions/exclusions from machinery safety standards, safety risks, limiting exposure to hazards,

About Trainer:

This 2-Day ONLINE course is conducted by Cybersys Technologies Ltd. Trainer Mr Lalith Shaiwale who has received ProQual Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training.

Lalit Shaiwale (TÜV FS Trainer 54/2020, TÜV FS Engineer 1895/09, IECEx CP TUR22.0048 Ex 001) is Technical Trainer, and Technical Advisor. For past 15 years, he has Successfully completed more than 100 Functional Safety study projects involving HAZOP, SIL Assessment, Safety Requirement Specification (SRS) and SIL verification. He is currently delivering training for a very broad range of attendees, in open courses and in courses for single companies, ranging from a few attendees to more than 50 in multiple sessions.

Course Objective
The course will enable participants to understand and master the functional safety related aspects like Hazard identification, Risk assessment and designing of safety critical systems. The course will enable the understanding of Safety standards like ISO 12100 and ISO 13849. The course will enhance knowledge of Machine safety design and concepts like SIL levels, Category and Performance levels.
